About me

I grew up in the UK, and London is my home through and through. My intention in doing this website is to create an online portfolio to share my thoughts, photography and words.
Lets start with my photography. I fell into taking pictures when I was 19, through being a Madonna fan.
Paparazzi photography kept me occupied through university, although it did not stimulate my creativity. Through my three years as a paparazzi photographer I was published in every major magazine and newspaper title all over the world, breaking exclusive stories, teaching myself as much as I could about how to get the most out of my camera and what it takes to capture a great image.
I decided to surround myself with creative imagery and started working at Getty Images in 2004. Working at the biggest and best photographic library in the world allowed me to learn even more about what I love and has fuelled my passion and desire to create a collection of my own.
I have since taken a different path and now manage a charity, it is something I love and everyday presents a different challenge, and that is just the way I like it.
I now enjoy seeing life through my lens in my spare time and can often be seen at small weddings at the weekends capturing peoples special day. If you would like to find out more about hiring me as your wedding photographer, please get in touch, or visit my wedding section on the site.
Through this whole period, writing has always been something that has stayed close to my heart. I have been writing for as long as I can remember, and you can see some examples on this website. Some of what I’ve written about is through personal experience, and some is how I would imagine that experience to be.
The decision to put my work out there to be judged has been a hard one, but I am proud of what I have done so far. Everyday I am trying to broaden my skills and experiences to be the best that I can.
Your comments are much appreciated and it would be great if you could post an opinion when you’re done. It is only through this that I can grow as a writer and photographer.

Thank you for taking the time to look at what I have done.
